Core Workout: 10 Minutes

When it comes to core and abs, I find that a little every day works best. This only takes ten minutes, and all you need is some floor space and a timer! The exercises below can be done in any order.

  • 1 minute front plank (arms bent at elbows, hips low)
  • 1 minute right-side plank (arm bent at elbow, other arm up in air)
  • 1 minute left side plank (arm bent at elbow, other arm up in air)
  • 1 minute orange-squeezers (also know as in-and-out abs or boat pose)
  • 1 minute bicycles (opposite elbow to opposite knee – it’s better to do this one slow and right, than fast yet incorrect! You’ll get faster the more you do it.)
  • 1 minute bridge (squeeze glutes, knees together)
  • 1 minute crutches (shoulders up off the ground)
  • 1 minute flutter kicks (try to keep your hands at your sides!)
  • 1 minute “superman” (stomach on floor, arms and legs off ground)
  • 20-25 sit-ups
