I say this about every season, but there’s nothing quite like fall. It’s not quite cold enough where you need your winter coat and gloves, but it’s just the right temperature where you’re totally comfortable solely wearing a light jacket. I’m in love with my windbreaker, fleece, and hoodie. There’s so many styles to try out! Ah, and vests cannot be forgotten! They are perfect compromise when it’s too warm for a jacket but too cold for simply a long-sleeve.
Additionally, I love simply being outside when it’s fall. The trees become a variety of warm colors, and soon the atmosphere is lit up with reds, oranges, and yellows. The contrast of the blue sky and fall leaves is irreplaceable.
Not to mention the abundance of activities available in the fall. Apple picking, horseback riding, leaf pile jumping—the list goes on and on. You can take your dog on a walk, enjoy the scenery, or pick out your seasonal pumpkins at a pumpkin patch. Apple cider doughnuts are always a must, and one can’t forget about pumpkin pie.
With the fall also brings Thanksgiving. Feast with friends and family; enjoy the company of those around you. And never, ever forget to be grateful.
