It is crazy easy for forget stuff when going on a picnic. Therefore, here is your checklist for what to bring on a summer picnic outside.
What to Bring On a Summer Picnic
– Pita Chips, Veggies, and Hummus
This could be considered random, but I legitimately love hummus with raw veggies and pita chips. Bring vegetables such a carrot, cucumbers, and celery. If you are interested in hummus with chips & veggies, bring guacamole & tortilla chips instead. Here is a recipe. Wanting more healthy snacks? Read this post.
PB & J is a classic for me. It never has and never will get old. However, if you’re going for a more sophisticated layout of food, bring sushi!
– 2 Blankets
One blanket to sit on, one blanket for warmth! It can easily get chilly once the sun goes down.
Again, it can get chilly when the sun goes down. Candles are awesome for warmth and light.
– Camping chairs & mini table
This is optional, as you could totally sit on the blanket. However, chairs & a table can be nice if you’re able to carry them!
– La Croix
I love these for picnics. Or anytime, really. They are a great treat and a perfect alternative to sugary sodas.
