Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth with These 3 Chicago Bakeries

Three Tarts Bakery (Northfield)
My all-time favorite item to get from Three Tarts is their smiley face cookies. Soft, sweet, and frosted with real chocolate icing, these cookies are divine. Three Tarts also offers a “Good Morning Cookie,” which I love. The atmosphere of Three Tarts is incredibly warm and welcoming. Be sure to stop by this bakery in Northfield, IL for cupcakes, brownies, cookies, granola, and more.

Sweet Mandy B’s (Lincoln Park)
Sweet Mandy B’s has uncommon, delicious sweets you are sure to love. My favorites include their “Magic Cookie Bar” (graham cracker layer with sweetened coconut, chocolate chips, and butterscotch), Molasses Ginger Cookie, and the two cookies with buttercream in between. Lincoln Park’s Sweet Mandy B’s has colorful walls that make for a stellar environment.

The best things in life ARE sweet.

Jeni’s Ice Cream (Wicker Park, Southport, Lincoln Park, Old Town)
My two favorite things about Jeni’s Ice Cream is their (A) incredibly unique flavors and (B) welcoming, friendly staff. I love the atmosphere; it is clean, open, and perfect for enjoying an ice cream cone. I love the “Darkest Chocolate,” “Brown Butter Almond Brittle,” and “Chamomile Chardonnay” flavors :p With a location in Old Town recently being open for business, Jeni’s now has 4 locations around the city.
