Recipe: Ultra Fudgy Brownies (GF, V)

What makes these brownies fantastic is that they are rich, gooey, delicious, and chock-full of protein. They are also Mom-approved, so you know they’re good.

A good friend of mine texted me a recipe she made from Big Man’s World blog. I knew I had to check it out; I am always looking for healthy & satisfying brownies recipes ❤ I modified the recipe to work for me, and below is the result!

Like most things, these brownies are delicious with a tall glass of milk. The added walnuts are optional, but they do provide a wonderful texture, flavor, and even some protein. 🙂

Do not hesitate in making these brownies! They are great as a dessert, post-workout snack, or just whenever you need some chocolate in your life.

Ultra Fudgy Brownies

Yields: 12 Brownies

  • 1 cup overripe mashed banana (about 3)
  • 1 scoop/serving vegan vanilla protein powder
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup plant milk
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup nuts, chopped *

* Walnuts and almonds work well, but pecans are my favorite for these brownies 🙂

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a large bowl, stir together the mashed bananas, protein powder, almond & butter butter, cocoa powder, and milk.

Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.

Spread out in a pan. Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool before serving.
