Six Months of Sunrises

Once a month, a good friend and I go to see the sunrise, beginning in September. Not only is it absolutely beautiful, but I also have loved seeing it change throughout the year! Specifically in regard to the time, weather, beach, etc. Most of these sunrises have been chilly, so it’s essential to bundle up with scarf & hat, as well as bringing some coffee or tea! Blankets also help a lot.

Somedays breakfast is brought to the beach; other days it becomes an outing afterward. One time a ukulele & written lyrics were included, too 🙂 These monthly sunrises have provided me with perspective, witnessing the beauty in the world and spicing up my weekly routine. There is nothing like witnessing the day’s light unfold you, already awake and ready to tackle whatever the day may bring.

“It was sunsets that taught me that beauty sometimes only lasts for a couple of moments, and it was sunrises that showed me that all it takes is patience to experience it all over again.”
